Travel North Wales | Our 2022 Must Visit List

OUR TOP TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VISITING NORTH WALES IN 2021

1. Climb Snowdon

For those who like to aim high, there’s no higher peak in the whole of Wales than Snowdon!

The Llanberis Path is the most gradual/family friend route to the top, but if you’re looking for a challenge there are lots of options to get to the top!

2. Walk the Wales Coastal Path

Walking in North Wales doesn’t have to involve mountains! If you prefer to be by the seaside why not walk a section of the Wales Coastal Path?

There’s some 60 miles of sea views from the North Wales path starting from Chester and, at Prestatyn, the Wales Coast Path joins Offa’s Dyke Path, Britain’s longest ancient monument and a National Trail, before continuing through to Bangor.

3. Visit the set of “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2020”

Abergele hit the headlines in autumn 2020 and 2021 when it was revealed that Gwrych Castle (just 5 minutes away from Tan Rallt!) would be hosting one of the world’s largest reality TV shows “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!”

In 2022 when Gwrych Castle reopens to the public you’ll be able to visit the Castle, its grounds and even see part of the set that was used for filming!

4. See the famous Llandudno Goats

2020 was the year that many of us spent a lot of time at home… and also a lot of time online. So why not take a trip up the Great Orme to meet our local celebrities – the Llandudno Kashmiri goats!

These famous goats went viral last spring after they ventured down off the Orme and were filmed wandering around Llandudno.
