The Retreat Gym Reopen

Update

In line with Welsh Government guidance The Retreat Gym will be reopen for use with enhanced social distancing measures from Monday 10th August!

We’ve put a number of measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests and our team, these are in line with guidance from the Welsh Government and may change at short notice in order to comply as and when these regulations are reviewed.

Open from Monday 10th August

The Retreat Gym will be available for use between the hours of 9am and 6pm, 7 days a week.

The Retreat Gym is an Unsupervised Facility

Use of The Retreat Gym is only permitted for our customers aged 16 and over.

Please do not enter The Retreat Gym if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms related to the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Before your Workout

To comply with social distancing regulations only 1 household is permitted to use the Gym at any given time.

Pre-book your 1 hour slot to use The Retreat Gym by calling Reception on 01492 516 652. Slots are available a week in advance.

Collect your access pass from Reception and sign to agree our terms of use.

Need a towel? Just ask a member of our Reception team when you sign in, you will be provided with a towel in a bag and we ask that you return it in the bag after your work out when you come to return the access pass and sign out.

The changing facilities will remain closed for the time being, as such we ask that you change, shower and use the bathroom facilities in your own self contained accommodation.

During your Workout

On the way in please use the hand sanitiser provided.

You’ll notice a new sanitising station equipped with sanitising spray and disposable cloths, we ask that you please use these to wipe down the equipment before and after use. There is a bin provided for safe disposal of the used cloths.

Unfortunately the use of the sauna, steam room and indoor spa pool are still prohibited by the Welsh Government and remain closed until further notice.

After your Workout

Once you’re finished your workout, return to Reception where one of our team will collect the Access Pass, any used towels and ask you to sign out.

Any questions?

If you have any questions about the new procedures that we are putting in place in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus please just ask one of our team.
