1. Clean out kitchen cupboards, defrost freezer and turn off the fridge
2. Pack away duvets and bedding in vacuum packs to prevent damp
3. Leave your curtains open to prevent condensation
4. Pack any valuables and personal belongings that you’ll be taking with you
5. Leave interior and cupboard doors open to allow air circulation
