Today our company Pario Leisure Group has handed over access to 250 beds to the NHS free of charge.
It is our view that we have a duty to help our local community where we can. We’ve spent months getting over 125 holiday caravans ready for visitors to North Wales, and now we are offering them completely free of charge to be used by frontline NHS staff members who need to isolate away from their families.
Pario Leisure, which includes Tan Rallt Holiday Home Park and Spa in Abergele and Marine Holiday Park in Rhyl, are just a 10-minute drive away from Glan Clywd Hospital.
As the parks are closed to holiday guests in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, park owner, Wyn Williams, has today taken the step to hand over his caravans to the Betsi Cadwalder Health Board and NHS staff.
Wyn said: “It is so important for us to all help each other at this time.
“We are all in this together and showing love for one another is of paramount importance – now more than ever!
“Both of our parks are just 10 minutes away from Glan Clwyd Hospital and while we follow Government guidelines and close our parks to the public, it seemed the obvious solution to me to now offer these beds to our loyal NHS workers who are really feeling the strain.”
Both of our parks are currently closed to holiday makers. Everyone who has already made a booking will be able to transfer these bookings to an alternative date with no charge.
Wyn added: “The health and wellbeing of all of our visitors and staff is paramount and our number one priority. Considering the rate at which COVID-19 is spreading we feel we owe it to all of our loyal customers – both current and future – to take this action.
“We look forward to welcoming all of our familiar faces – and hopefully lots of new faces too – back to both Marine and Tan Rallt, once we are through these difficult times.”
This accommodation is now being coordinated by the Betsi Cadwaldr University Health Board. Please contact the Control Centre using the details below and they will refer you to us in turn.
