Q. What models of caravan holiday home do you supply?

Q. What facilities do you have on the Park?

A

We have a selection of luxury facilities on the park including the Cliffs 5* Restaurant, Our Gym and the Retreat Spa.

Q. Is it possible to sub-let my Holiday Home?

A

We do not allow subletting at Tan Rallt but it is welcome at our sister holiday park – www.marineholidaypark.co.uk.

Q. How often do I have to change my holiday home?

A

We are now offering from March 2013 a tenure of up to 15 years on a new holiday home. The BH & HPA guideline is 10 years but we feel it is important for you to enjoy your holiday home for as long as you can. The license is drawn up in association with our industry trade body, the British Holiday Home and Parks Association (BH & HPA), in association with the Office of Fair Trading.

Q. How much do caravans cost?

A

We have caravans to suit all budgets from a used starter caravan at £8,995 to £100,000. We also offer an affordable finance package on most Holiday Homes. Call our sales team for more information 01492 516 652.

Q. How long is your season?

A

Tan Rallt Holiday Home Park is open from 1st March to 14th January every year (46 weeks). Meaning you can enjoy your caravan over the Christmas and New Year period if you so wish. Most on park facilities are open from throughout this period.

Q. How large is the Park?

A

Tan Rallt Holiday Park is regarded in the industry as a medium-large Park with circa 200 caravans.

Q. Do you only sell new caravan holiday homes?

A

No, we have good second hand caravans in a range of prices.  For latest deals search our website or contact our Sales Team on 01492 516652.

Q. Do you offer finance?

A

Yes, we can give written quotes should you require, we generally use Capital Bank, The Funding Corporation and Black Horse Finance when proposing loans. Q. Do you have any information you can send me?

Q. Do we get any type of agreement or licence for the pitch?

A

From July 2008 we will use the written Code of Practice and Licence Agreement, developed by the BH&HPA and the NCC for all new customers and any existing customer who would prefer this agreement.

Q. Do I own the land?

A

You own your caravan, but not the land upon which it is sited. You pay the site fees for the right to occupy your pitch for the tenure period.

Q. Can my friends and family visit me?

A

You can have up to 8 named, photographed people on a pass, which allows them to use the Park facilities.

Q. Can I stay in my caravan in the Closed Season?

A

The Park Licence issued by the local Council insists that we have a closed period as the Park is a Holiday Park not for residential use.  So, whilst you can’t stay in your caravan you can visit it from time to time to ensure that everything is in order.

Q. Can I speak to other caravan owners on the Park?

A

We always encourage you to talk to our customers as we believe that they are the best form of advertising for the Park and we are certain they will tell you what a great place Tan Rallt Holiday Park is.

Q. Can I pick which pitch my caravan is sited on?

A

Yes, subject to availability and suitability, you can choose any vacant plot you like.  If you see a caravan you like and you want it moving to another plot there is sometimes a charge.

Q. Can I have decking installed on my caravan?

A

In most cases you will be able to have decking installed; before construction begins you must have your plans approved in writing by the Park to ensure that this complies with the Park rules and fire regulations

Q. Can I choose the location of my Holiday Home?

A

Yes, for new holiday homes depending on the size of the home you choose you are able to choose from the available locations.

Q. Can I bring my caravan on from another site?

A

Yes, subject to certain criteria we welcome owners from other Parks. In fact we will move it for you! Our “Love Your Caravan Not Your Park promise” means we will move your caravan to us FREE of charge within 50 miles of Tan Rallt. We will also include, FREE Sitting, FREE Gas Test & FREE Electrical Test.

Q. Can I arrange my insurance through the Park?

A

It is a requirement of Tan Rallt Park that all caravans have insurance.  If you choose not to insure through the Park you will required to provide a copy of your insurance documents each year.  Most of our customers have opted for the Parks preferred supplier, who offer great service at a competitive, reasonable price.

Q. Are pets allowed?

A

Yes, pets are allowed.  A caravan allows you to holiday with your pets rather than having the expense of paying for kennels and catteries which owners and their pets can find distressing while being parted.  We do not limit pets to just dogs and cats, some of our owners even bring budgies and parrots.  We do reserve the right to refuse certain dangerous breeds of dogs and we do ask that pets are controlled.  Please make sure all dogs and cats have an identity tag.  Dogs should be kept on a lead and restrained at all times. We ask that you clean up after your pets.

The annual running costs are:

Our fees are £3,900 per annum for caravans and £4,600 for lodges.
