Great Orme

As you drive into Llandudno with the Promenade stretching out in front of you, the Great Orme is sure to catch your eye. This limestone headland gets it’s name from the Old Norse word for Sea Serpent, which is what the Vikings thought it resembled! On a sunny day we suggest going up to the Summit of the Great Orme, or for those not that keen on walking, just enjoy the view driving round the scenic Marine Drive.

Another great way of seeing the town of Llandudno is by tram! The tramway was first laid in 1898, with the current station being used from 1904 onwards. For beautiful views of the town and the sea, a trip on the tram is not to be missed!
